Performance anxiety is:

a form of social anxiety that involves worry and fear about one’s ability to perform a particular task. Some examples include, but are not limited to, test-taking, stage fright, athletic performance, driving and interviewing.  With excessive worry leading up to the anticipated event, it is often a self-fulfilling prophecy. The physical sensations that come with anxiousness might be sweaty hands, nausea, a racing pulse and trembling voice. This form of anxiety can prevent you from doing what you enjoy while also potentially affecting your career, relationships and goals for the future. Fear and anxiety around certain activities may leave you feeling stuck and unable to execute them in the manner that you would like, leaving you to feel like you can do better.

With hypnosis:

you shift the way you think about a situation, thus shifting your response. Together, we’ll explore how you are currently performing and how you would like to be performing. I’ll help you bridge that gap and access your target performance goal, thus increasing your confidence and enjoyment. I will teach you self-hypnosis tools for self-directed neuroplasticity.

By creating new neural pathways in your brain:

these tools will help you stop the actions around performance anxiety that have turned into habitual patterns and create new, more beneficial actions.
